The Spin Game
What new word or words did you learn during the Spin Game? I don't actually remember learning any new words.. Our class wasn't really one of the best classes that day, and nobody was really even paying attention.
Why is it important for your team to work together to decide on a group answer? If everyone in the group is shouting out different answers then it gets confusing, and too hard to decide on the correct answer. It is much easier and calm if everyone in the group decides on one answer rather than five different ones.
What are some examples of school subjects that relate to specific occupations? How do they relate? Science and Biology are just a couple of examples, but they relate because even though they may not be the specific occupation you are interested in, science and biology are involved in many of the careers that are chosen. Math is also another big one, like if you wanted to be an accountant, you would need to know math in order to do your job.
What occupations did you learn about that you did not know of before playing the Spin Game? There really wasn't any, but i didn't know that a way you could advertise your business was working in the military.
What occupations are related to the environment? How? Scientists can help collect data and find harmful chemicals in the earth. Scientist can help find a way to remove those harmful chemicals so that the earth is a better place.
